Design is the most basic and the most critical part of a website. A good design is something that is concise, clear, easy to use and most importantly, exactly what you want it to look like. Starting with input from you, I'll work up a design and develop ideas that fit within your timeframe, expectations, desires and budget.
Getting your content out there is sometimes the hardest part. With social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter now becoming a primary source of news and information, it's important that your website or project has exposure. Whether it's the creation of a twitter page or fan site, social media can be a valuable extension of your site.
Blogging has become so much more than just a place for personal thoughts. Having a blog or content manager is a great way to interact with your website's viewers. Content is constantly changing and the use of blog platforms makes it easy to get news, media and your ideas out there quickly and easily.
For more extended interaction with content and viewers, a forum or message board is the next best thing. Having a forum allows your content to have a more organized and sectioned structure. It also allows viewers to contribute more easily and establish a hierarchy within your website.
The most recognizable and memorable part of any website or project is the logo that carries your name. Having a good logo can make or break a website. Logos do not always have to be complex, but need to get across the message or purpose of your site quickly and easily so your viewers keep coming back.
A good design, blog or forum would be nothing without a place to put it. Domains are your access to the web and hosting is vital for storing files, media, databases and email. Both can be provided to fit your needs without giving you more than you can use or handle.

This is the second full redesign of my current social blog, powered by Tumblr. I started from the ground up with this one and wanted to go for a really clean and warm design that utilized tumblr's conditional theme settings.

This is another customization built for Tumblr's blog system and custom theme settings. It was built from the ground up with clean, modern typography in mind and with one condition from the owner: it had to be purple.
Yet another tumblr customization job built for a small website that features news about Apple. While there many sites like this, the goal was to be "followed" by other tumblr users so news was displayed in their dashboard.

I started learning about website development with my first project, AllThingsApple. This website was an attempt at making an Apple news and rumor website and while it wasn't a huge success, I learned a great deal about internet publishing platforms, HTML and CSS. Over the years, I've learned so much about modern web standards, HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, etc. I've also learned to work with publishing and blogging platforms such as Wordpress, Blogger, ExpressionEngine, MovableType, Tumblr (my personal favorite), CushyCMS and more. I love building around social media and have worked on many forums using systems such as PHPBB3, IP.Board among others.
